The Boils – The Orange and the Black

This 6 song EP isn’t going to appeal to everyone, hockey fans and folks already into The Boils will definitely like it more than most. The Philadelphia Flyers have played The Boils track "The Orange and the Black" (which sounds almost exactly like a Dropkick Murphy’s song) and now there’s an EP, all songs about the sport they love. They aren’t the Hanson Brothers, but there is something fun about non-traditional sports anthems, and I’d rather hear this than Gary Glitter being pumped over a sound system. This probably isn’t a record you’ll play over and over, but if you’re into the sport and the Flyers in particular, you may want to check it out.
